Stone Crest's Maximus is the long sought after male appy that we have been looking for. His famous sire is Mystery's Timone, a National Champion. His dam is from RTC Llama Ranch, Francine, out of Randy Cipriano's program of superior genetic breeding. (Pictures courtesy of Jody Laird-Peter) He has gotten very tall, and he and his pasture mate Cyrus, are breathtakingly handsome llamas! As you would expect, Max will be taken to the show ring this year, to wow everyone with his striking appearance - ...

Tall stretchy Suri,

Star Angeleena

Suri Female White/dilute brown

ILR# 291449 DOB: 9/17/20177 yrs
Star Angeleena has the perfect phenotype for a Suri llama. She is tall and stretchy with a long neck and beautiful, shimmery tendrils. She has excellent conformation and genetics that go back to the original imports of llama to the United States. She has been bred for the first time last spring, and we are anxiously awaiting her first cria! Updates to come. Our very own Star Angeleena has given us another fantastic cria - he is 100% gray! I have been trying to get the complete gray coverage in various pairings and last year, bred our Stone Crest's Maximus appy herd sire with Angeleena. He is an appy with a lot of gray, and it turned out to be the winning combination - finally, we (they) did it!

This young boy is already strong and wow, is he fast! He has a very protective mom but she is having trouble keeping up with his antics of racing around the pastures with the other cria. He is conformationally perfect, with a straight back and has the regal stance of his mom, a phenotypical Suri with her long stretchy neck and long Suri tendrils. We will watch his fleece - will it be Suri or silky?

For now, it is just super soft and a joy to play with him once we can distract his mom for a moment!
