Bruno WRLR is just about the friendliest llama at Windy Ridge Llama Ranch! He is so inquisitive! You open the gate into the pasture, and he will be the first to come and say hello! Bruno was the result of the pairing of our own Star Fortress (seen on this site) and Star Angeleena (also seen on this site). Bruno has the most unique coloring - he is a coppery brown with an intense gray face, topped off by silver tipped ears! He is just the cutest boy, but there is so much more to love aside from his personality and coloring!

Bruno WRLR has inherited his elegant dam's phenotype: Star Angeleena is a perfect Suri llama. Tall, graceful, with coiled and long Suri tendrils with a super long, stretchy neck - all of her offspring to date have carried that fantastic body type - Bruno WRLR is a tall and stretchy Suri llama like his parents. I did not mention that his sire, our Star Fortress is a handsome Suri herd sire who bears the same unique Suri phenotype as Star Angeleena, so Bruno WRLR was the genetic winner of this breeding!

Wer chose not to have Bruno shorn this summer because we have such a short time for his fleece to grow back before autumn, which often times in Montana arrives with snow! He has such soft, silky fine fiber, and abundant as it is, he won't be shorn until spring 2026.

Many llama ranches have only a few male herd sires, and if Bruno stays, he will be very welcomed to do so! As breeders, there is an expression that "you can't keep them all". Since we have his sire and dam, and a lot of males, some need to be sent off to other pastures. He is old enough to join your herd! Please ask if you have any inquiries about Bruno WRLR!
