Simpatico's Penelope

Argentine/Chilean Female White/Brown-Med/Grey-dilute

ILR# 289989 DOB: 6/16/20168 yrs

Simpatico's Penelope was purchased bred last year from Jacob Mumford, and he chose to breed her to Hi Rez GNLC. What an extraordinary cria has just been born! We knew GNLC Hi Rez was a GNLC Hightower son, but we had not known about his very unusual coloring. After speaking with Steve Rolfing, who owns Great Northern Llama Company, he explained what he saw in the coloring. He referred to it as "brindle", giving a name to this very beautiful color - reddish gray, and it is oh so soft and very thick. Simpatico's Penelope had a full Argentine herd sire, claiming rights to this rare line in her name. Also, her herd sire is most likely the reason for the thickness of her fleece.
