Details
Here Comes Trouble ABSR is a powerful, large boned majestic llama. His sire is the well known and prolific Rastaputin, a great big, powerfully handsome llama. Rastaputin was bred to full Argentine Kornerstone Blue Ribbon ABSR and the outcome was the magnificent Here Comes Trouble ABSR. Although he came to Windy Ridge Llama Ranch when he was only 6 months old, he has grown to become the great big proven herd sire we hoped he would be!

I have to brag about his famous sire, because his genetics fit so perfectly into the desired breeding program at WRLR. He was a 3rd generation offspring if Kantu P5 and Argentine Kobra - all of Rastaputin's ancestors were pure Argentine - his dam was Argentine Pampita, and she was the product of Argentine Don Zunca and Argentine Machi (this pairing was a famous breeding!). So, combining Rastaputin with Argentine lines including Argentine Kobra's Kornerstone and his sire, Argentine Kobra makes his lineage read like a "Who's Who" of famous Argentine llamas! So Here Comes Trouble ABSR is a whole lot more Argentine than just one half!

Much of his Argentine genetics are seen - that composition of big bone structure, straight back, triangular head, and such deep, thick full body fleece! He is also very colorful - the big guy has a mostly while neck along with the front half of his body until he is shorn! Then you see that his back is actually a medium to dark silvery gray! His tail is huge, and it is multicolored, with black, gray, white and brown fleece!

Here Comes Trouble ABSR, call name "Trouble", has sired many offspring here at Windy Ridge - he has given us two daughters and a son. Victoria WRLR has been sold to a family in Alaska, and the other daughter, Freya WRLR, has been kept here to be shown in the Glacier Llama Show in Kalispell, Montana in June 2024! Updates to come! We have also retained his one son, Trouble Spot WRLR, call name "Spot" who is the "up and coming" breeding pen of Junior Herd Sires. Both Freya WRLR and Trouble Spot WRLR have their own pages on our website.
