Here Comes Trouble ABSR

Heavy Wool Herdsire (Male) Black/white/grey

ILR# 292896 DOB: 8/15/20177 yrs
Here Comes Trouble ABSR is a powerful, large boned majestic llama. His sire is the well known and prolific Rastaputin, a great big, powerfully handsome llama. Rastaputin was bred to full Argentine Kornerstone Blue Ribbon ABSR and the outcome was the magnificent Here Comes Trouble ABSR. Although he came to Windy Ridge Llama Ranch when he was only 6 months old, he has grown to become the great big proven herd sire we hoped he would be! I have to brag about his famous sire, because his genetics ...

Beautiful Proven Suri - great genetics

Star Premium Property

Suri Female white/brown-dilute

ILR# 280882 DOB: 5/20/201014 yrs
Star Premium Property, aka "Mama Llama" came to us bred with a female cria by her side. Since then she has given us another female cria, Star Ilsa, and a handsome boy, Cyrus. Last summer, Mama gave birth to Susie WRLR, another llama with perfect conformation and the winning look of all of Mama's cria. Mama Llama is a perfect mom, and in her own right, a beautiful Suri with some dilute brown which she tends to carry in her offspring, except for Star Prime Pattern, who is a gorgeous milk chocolate ...

Freya WRLR: A beautiful llama with very distinctive features, and a very amazing genetic tree! Her face is ringed by great big black patches like a racoon with white eyelashes – too adorable! She has long banana ears that are also 2 toned – black, but each ear has a white encircling strip of white! Her barrel is black, but her hind section is white with black and gray spots, topped off with a cute black tail!

Then there are those amazing WRLR genetics. Her sire is our prolific half Argentine Here Comes Trouble ABSR – the son of the famous Rastaputin, who had been paired with a full Argentine, Argentine Blue Ribbon ABSR. He is a magnificent herd sire!

She is the daughter of Star Premium Property, call name Momma Llama, who is our top producer at WRLR. She has given us Star Prime Pattern, Star Ilsa, Susie WRLR, and Freya WRLR.

We chose this breeding to achieve the fleece coverage and bone density of the Argentine line of the sire with the sleek and shiny Suri fleece of the dam. We did it (well, they did it!) As breeders, it is very exciting when you roll the genetic dice with the hopes that everything will line up. In this case, God blessed us with exactly what we had been aiming for. This is one very beautiful, unique, and genetically gifted llama!

Although we are now listing her for purchase, she is entered to compete in the Glacier National Llama Show on June 22,23 of 2024. We would ask that we keep her long enough to show her - she'll be in a halter class as well as in the "Produce of Dam" categories, so we will see how Freya performs!

Freya WRLR has been doing great on a halter, walking very nicely despite all the many distractions she is being led through (dogs barking, horses and cattle next door, and the ongoing construction projects at WRLR) - she is getting into and out of the trailer very well also. I am very hopeful for her first ever llama show! By the way, whatever ribbons she wins come with her to your ranch!

Update: Freya WRLR has placed 2nd and 3rd in the medium wool class at the Glacier Classic Llama show, and placed 3rd in "Produce of Dam"and 4th in "Bred and Owned" - lots of awards and ribbons - congratulations, Freya WRLR!
