Star Ilsa

Star Ilsa is the rare offspring of Star Firewalker and Star Premium Property. We had purchased Star Premium Property as a bred female with a female cria, Star Prime Pattern, at her side. Star Ilsa began as a pure white llama, but developed a small patch of dilute brown, like her mom, on the left side of her face. She has grown into a huge llama, almost one of our largest females. She is perfect in conformation, walks well on a lead, and is the llama everyone wants to see when they come to visit us. She has blue eyes, and looks very exotic as a result. Unlike alpaca, where blue eyes are often associated with deafness, this is not the case with llama.
She has been bred to one of our best herd sires - Here Comes Trouble ABSR. This is one breeding we were really jazzed about - Trouble is proven and is one big, gorgeous Argentine llama - massive! Ilsa, our fair maiden, has grown up after being born here at Windy Ridge Llama Ranch, and is huge! Due to her size, there was really only one herd sire big enough for this breeding. Their son is Trouble Spot, born 7/2/2022, a gorgeous male featured on this site.
Star Ilsa has been bred to Stonecrests Maximus and their pairing produced a magnificent female black and white appaloosa - Brienne of Montana, WRLR! You can see her on this website on her own page. We were so excited with this breeding that we will be repeating it again this year!
